Recovery Yoga for Cancer Survivors - Thursdays at 6pm beginning March 1st

Yoga connects us to our body, our breath and our mind and this connection can be especially important for cancer survivors. This class will guide survivors through a positive recovery process with movement, meditation, and education including nutritional information. Yoga can awaken the spirit and offer a positive image of ourselves and the world around us.

This class can be especially important after breast cancer surgery and radiation in order to stretch and help the body remain supple. Physical benefits of this class include improved range of motion, breaking down of scar tissue and the release of the gripping feeling in the chest area. Emotionally this class will help you calm the mind, release stress and tension, and encourage a positive healing process. Overall you will feel energized in body, mind and spirit.

CW referes to herself as a walking, talking billboard.  In December 2008 she was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer and a whopping 6 months to live. She felt the scare tactics from traditional medicine warning her if she chose not to do chemotherapy and radiation.  She choose not to do the toxic course and instead choose to detoxify and regenerate with one of the greatest sciences, Naturopathy.

CW started out majoring in music, passionate about the pipe organ, with a bio-chemistry minor.  Little did she know how all this would come together in her present goals and intention of teaching individuals how to live a balanced life through detoxifying and regenerating.

Now CW humbly expresses gratitude for each new day. She gives organ concerts for charity. She loves the outdoors, life as a whole, teaching Kundalini yoga, her dog and of course God. Her passion is educating people with a road map to health, and aiding faith and hope to any individual who was diagnosed with cancer or disease.
